For over 80 years, the FDES Portuguese Hall of Monterey has stood as a cornerstone of our community, preserving the faith, heritage, and traditions that connect us to our Portuguese roots and to each other. None of that happens without the generosity of people who care.

Your Support Matters

The FDES Portuguese Hall of Monterey is a nonprofit organization sustained entirely by membership dues, event proceeds, rental income, and the generous donations of community supporters like you. Your contribution helps us:

  • Maintain and improve our historic 11-acre property on Casanova Avenue

  • Fund annual scholarships for deserving students of Portuguese descent

  • Preserve and celebrate the traditions of the Festa do Divino Espírito Santo

  • Support community events that bring the Monterey Peninsula together year after year
